Livingoods Visit

Grandparents seem to need a baby fix every two weeks. ;-) My parents got theirs recently too...

Graziosos Visit

Chris, Colleen and Molly Grazioso visited recently. Chris and Coll went to a wedding one night and looked quite smart.

Baby Advancing

She's now 6 months old! Starting to babble and sit up on her own a bit. She surprised us by grabbing her bottle and bringing it to her mouth recently!

October - Busy Month

October was busy as ever. I finally broke down and sold the Corrado! I owned the car for 9 years and 100,000 fun-filled miles.

Last day of ownership -

We visited Grey and Cherie to see their new puppy, Dakota. Cute little guy who will soon be VERY big.

Of course, what would October be without Halloween?!

Madeline is becoming more and more interested in the world around her. She's always curious.

Maddie's feet can finally touch the ground from her step-and-play piano. She seems to like it a great deal and it's noisy as anything.

She's also starting to like sitting up. As of October, she was not able to do so on her own (she must be propped up).

September - Trying Solid Food

We introduced solid foods to Madeline in September. As you can see her initial reaction to the new taste of food is a lot different than just a few days later, when she earns the nickname "baby bird."

First taste of solids -

A few days later, she loves it -

Playing with food becomes a problem -

August - Beach with Both Families

Both sides of the family hung out for a long weekend at the shore. Had a great time.

The sound of the waves puts Maddie to sleep almost immediately -

August - Beach with the Graziosos

We had a fun time on LBI with the Graziosos back in August. Check out a few pics.

August - Baby

We have not posted pics in awhile. The office is not setup and the PC unpacked, which means we have lots of pics to post. Here is one of Maddie from August with crazy hair.

Kabul, Afghanistan, Update

Back in August I collected donations at work and matched the donations with personal funds to send some networking tools (crimpers, etc.) to a few guys in the 54th Signal Battalion. They're doing some good work over in Kabul, Afghanistan, and we should all be glad they're over there.

They recently moved into a new barracks, so to speak. They actually moved into one of the old homes used by the Taliban and/or Al-Qaida. Now, keeping in mind that Afghanistan is a very poor country, you might be surprised to see the oppulence that the terrorists and their hosts enjoyed. Some pics are below. The team of guys I sent stuff to is now staying there while they do their work.

Corrado Sold

I sold the Corrado on Friday, October 31st. She's onto a good home but I'll still miss her. Lots of great memories though, so it won't be too bad. I enjoyed the Corrado for just over 9 years and 100,000 miles. I drove to many states from the midwest to the northeast and midatlantic, as well as Canada. And I met lots of very, very good friends as a result. Pretty cool that a car can do all that. But, hey, the Corrado is a pretty cool car. And I owned and loved one. No regrets on a great car.
